We are interested in how extracellular matrices (ECM) regulate tissue architecture and integrity and provide specific cues to cells under homeostatic and disease conditions. The ECM is comprised of collagens, glycoproteins, proteoglycans and growth factors whose relative composition and assembly is fine-tune based on the particular functional demands of the tissue in question.
